Connected Living in Chino

The Falloncrest master plan in Chino, CA, is a vision of connectivity, community, and architectural diversity. Cedar Row and Sage Court represent a second generation of designs that integrate into one complementary neighborhood within Falloncrest across 10 net acres. These proven concepts have been refined for today’s creative modern living.

WHA’s ability to adapt and innovate was put to the test when a public road and a defined public park was introduced midway through the design process, requiring significant site plan adjustments. Through seamless collaboration with Tri Pointe Homes, the City of Chino, and Falloncrest’s developers, WHA successfully maintained the desired yield and successful mix of home types while ensuring connectivity within the overall master plan. The use of 3D modeling from the project’s inception allowed WHA to refine every detail from every angle; ensuring that “All Corners Met” for a cohesive, livable, and connected environment across both neighborhoods totaling 188 homes.

Cedar Row

Cedar Row offers a fresh take on classic Spanish and Colonial Monterey architecture, integrating aesthetic and functional design elements. Featuring 8-plex and 9-plex buildings, the mix of two- and three-story row townhomes creates a diverse and engaging streetscape. Enhanced elevations—including decorative shutters, metal railings, and detailed trim—add depth and character, while varied garage door styles contribute to an inviting alleyway experience. WHA’s commitment to four-sided architecture ensures visual interest from every angle, reinforcing a sense of place and identity for residents.

With six unique floor plans ranging from 1,297 to 2,525 square feet, Cedar Row provides thoughtfully designed interiors that cater to various buyer needs. Key features include open-concept layouts, private decks, and flexible spaces such as lofts, offices, and optional bedrooms. Plans with tandem garages and flex rooms off the entry enhance usability while maximizing density.

Sage Court

Sage Court pushes design boundaries by integrating townhomes and flats into a single building type—creating a dense yet highly livable environment. This unique configuration forms a courtyard-style community that naturally encourages interaction among residents. Architectural variety is achieved through intricate and diverse massing while maintaining a singular elevation type, ensuring design cohesion without repetition.

To streamline construction and efficiency, WHA developed a stacking strategy where floor plans align over garage spaces, minimizing unnecessary overstacking. The contemporary Spanish-inspired design incorporates tower elements and arched openings, offering a fresh interpretation of traditional influences. Notable floor plans include Plan 1, a smaller square footage single level living plan, and Plan 5, a buyer favorite, which lives primarily on the second level and features a voluminous bonus room with an open split staircase to provide a major wow-factor. Additionally, Plan 4 offers a first-floor bedroom suite ideal for multi-generational households, making it a standout among both homebuyers and city planners.

Amenities and Connectivity

Both Cedar Row and Sage Court benefit from Falloncrest’s thoughtfully designed amenities, which prioritize resident engagement and outdoor living. Integrated pocket parks and paseos weave through the community, offering green spaces for relaxation and recreation. At the heart of the site, a private recreation center with a pool, spa, and outdoor pavilion serves as a central gathering point. Additionally, residents of Cedar Row and Sage Court will have mutual access to future amenities at The Meadows (Falloncrest II), ensuring a seamless connection via The Link between neighborhoods. Lastly, these fortunate residents have one of the city’s newest community parks immediately to the north of this neighborhood – best of both worlds!

Looking ahead, WHA continues to shape the future of Falloncrest with the upcoming phase, The Meadows. By designing with both present and future residents in mind, WHA reinforces its reputation for creating high-density housing solutions that offer architectural distinction, flexibility, and community-focused living. Cedar Row and Sage Court stand as prime examples of WHA’s value-added process—offering diverse housing solutions that meet the needs of today’s buyers while preserving the architectural integrity and livability of Falloncrest for years to come.
