WHA Sacramento: At the Heart of California’s Housing Solutions
We’re thrilled to announce that WHA’s Sacramento office has officially relocated to a vibrant new space in the heart of downtown Sacramento. You can now find us at 555 Capitol Mall, Suite 575, Sacramento, CA. This strategic move places our team in an urban location that reflects our diverse strengths in planning, multifamily, urban infill, and single-family projects. Our Sacramento office has grown fast, capable of handling both large and small projects, supported by a full staff of architects, designers, and graphics professionals in-house.
As specialists in residential and urban design, WHA Sacramento is committed to creating housing solutions that are not only attainable but also desirable and innovative. Our new location on Capitol Mall reflects our dedication to being actively involved in shaping the future of housing in California’s capital and surrounding areas.
Engaging with Industry Leaders and Legislation
At WHA, we are committed to being part of the solution to address California’s housing crisis. Our new location in the epicenter of legislative action allows us to stay at the forefront of discussions and solutions addressing California’s most pressing housing challenges. Our team is actively engaged in conversations with the California Building Industry Association (CBIA) about key industry challenges, including the implementation of the 2025 California Energy Code and adaptations for wildfires resilience. By incorporating the latest codes and energy requirements into our projects, we aim to ensure our designs are both forward-thinking and sustainable.
Addressing Homelessness & Affordable Housing in Sacramento
Homelessness remains one of the most complex and pressing issues facing California, and Sacramento is no exception. Over the past three years, WHA’s Sacramento team has been working alongside the American Institute of Architects (AIA), the Urban Land Institute (ULI), HomeAid, and local jurisdictions to identify and propose actionable solutions. Understanding the urgency of the situation, we initiated further research, partnered with state-wide non-profits, and created a series of detailed housing proposals for affordable, temporary and permanent housing solutions, which are now progressing toward completion.
A Call to Action
Our move to Capitol Mall symbolizes more than just a change in address; it’s a reaffirmation of our commitment to addressing California’s housing needs. With our presence firmly cemented across four key regions in California, we have the entire state covered and are well-positioned to support our new and long-time clients with their Sacramento and Northern CA needs. By being closer to the state’s decision-makers, WHA is eager to contribute our expertise and join the ongoing conversation about creating attainable, sustainable housing solutions. Let’s work together to tackle these challenges head-on and build a brighter future for all. Stop by our new office or connect with us online to learn more about how WHA is making an impact.
