HomeAid OC’s 2022 Diaper Drive

WHA had the pleasure of designing Tri Pointe Homes’ structure for the HomeAid Orange County 2022 Diaper Drive that occurred on Friday, June 10. Every year, HomeAid holds this event to collect diapers, wipes, and baby food donations for local families with babies and toddlers experiencing homelessness. Multiple companies compete to see who can design and build the best structure out of donated diaper boxes.

The idea behind our structure was to represent Southern California’s coastal sports: surfing and skating. Our local Newport Beach lifeguard towers were the inspiration for the design. The skate ramp was donated by Wahoo’s, and even featured professional skaters using the ramp the day of the event!

In total, our diaper structure used 130 diapers and Tri Pointe Homes collected more than $17,000 in donations! Thanks to all the volunteers from Tri Pointe Homes, the structure was built and decorated for the big day!
