A Tenant Improvement to Bank On
Farmers & Merchants Bank plans to relocate the Lakewood Branch into the recently purchased 6-story office building located at 4909 Lakewood Blvd along the Lakewood-Long Beach border. WHA’s Urban Studio team will direct this tenant improvement project, consisting of 10,800 square feet of office renovations. These renovations will encompass the entire ground level, a portion of the second level, and the replacement of the entire ground floor glazing system equipped with updated entry portals. The modernized Lakewood branch will offer an opulent banking experience to its clientele.
The updated ground level interior will feature an undulating 12’ high ceiling panel system that extends towards the exterior of the building, a minimalist floating board room situated near the center of the branch, and a signature bench with a walnut wood finish. Upon entry, clients will receive a one-on-one experience in each teller’s low wall-partitioned office, eliminating the need for a teller line. Each office/teller station will showcase a walnut wood finish and natural stone countertops. The second level TI will include updated restrooms, a mother’s room and an employee lunchroom which could serve as a meeting room.
The relocation and renovation of the Lakewood Branch will allow Farmers & Merchants to proudly continue serving the Lakewood community in a fresh and engaging way.
