Announcing WHA’s Very Own, First Ever Color of the Year!
It’s an annual tradition for paint companies and Pantone, the self-proclaimed global color authority, to announce their color choice for the new year. Each selection involves extensive research and compelling commentary intended to capture and reflect the current culture, mood and attitude of our world.

We are now making this annual color tradition our own. WHA proudly announces our first ever Color of the Year – Boundless Blue, a selection which dovetails perfectly with current trends and WHA’s mission statement challenge to “push the boundaries”.
Blue’s popularity is growing. Navy kitchens and light blue bathrooms, according to recent data from Zillow, can increase the value of resale homes. BASF, the largest chemical company in the world providing finishes for the automotive industry, predicts blue will take market share from the current preponderance of white, black and silver cars. Blue also reflects our renewed interest in science and space travel. We have a proclivity for blue light in our technological world and a need for nature’s blues in our essential world of sky and water.
Boundless Blue, WHA’s 2019 Color of the Year, is trending today with relevance for tomorrow and we like the longstanding, universal association blue has with the values of peace, unity, and trust as a part of our new tradition.
