Serena at Vila Borba

WHA has designed three new floor plans for Standard Pacific Homes on the sun-drenched slopes of Chino Hills.  Serena at Vila Borba offers homes ranging from 2,700 – 3,100 square feet, available in Spanish Colonial, Italianate and Craftsman styles.  Nearby Chino Hills State Park provides residents with outdoor activity opportunities such as hiking, biking and camping.

Vila Borba (utilizing the Portuguese “Vila” with one ‘L’) enjoys expansive views of the Inland Empire and San Bernardino Mountains.  Spacious Master Suites with covered decks take full advantage of these views.  The four and five bedroom homes also feature covered California Rooms, generous Great Rooms and Gourmet Kitchens.

The City of Chino Hills mandated variety in nearly every aspect of the neighborhood.  Garage and Entry configurations vary from plan to plan leading to a vibrant street scene. Plan One has a center entry between the garage and a downstairs Bedroom.  Plan Two turns the garage and creates a motor-court entry into the home.  And finally, Plan Three includes a straight-in three-car tandem garage with a side-entry which brings visitors under a portico and into a two-story Entry Foyer.

Additional Planning Dept. requirements, such as staggered front yard setbacks and a preference for single-story forms, reinforced the variety within the neighborhood.  This community will be a significant addition to the City of Chino Hills.
