Great Park Neighborhoods
This past weekend Five Point Communities opened the second of their Great Park Neighborhoods. Beacon Park consists of fifteen collections ranging in price from the mid $600,000s to the 1,400,000s with a mixture of condos, duplexes and single-family homes. Whether you are a first-time buyer, a family looking to upgrade or an empty nester, Beacon Park has something special to offer. Flanking Irvine’s “Great Park,” there is an emphasis on outdoor amenities including a community pool with showers and restrooms, basketball courts, walking/biking trails and the “Great Lawn” home to the iconic “Lookout.”
WHA is proud to have been part of two collections residing at opposite ends of the residential spectrum. Brio, a series of stacked-flats with a contemporary ambiance and Silvermist a detached single-family product with multiple, highly detailed architectural styles.
• Shea Homes
• Starting in the high $600,000s
• 76 units within 38 stacked flats
• 1,465sf – 1,963sf
• 2-3 beds & 2-3 baths with spacious master suites
• Private 2-car garages
• Private courtyards or second floor decks
• 10-Foot ceilings
• Den to bedroom conversion options
Each collection has its own unique flair and I believe Brio takes the cake as one of the most exciting products in Beacon Park. Providing an affordable option, which is uncommon to Irvine neighborhoods, Brio still provides the level of customization and finishes found in a high-end single-family home. The benefit of a duplex with stacked units compared to a duplex with side-by-side units is that it allows for a single story unit, perfect for empty nesters looking to downsize, it then provides a spacious, open-plan second floor unit which is sure to wow the first time home buyer.
The floor plans at Brio have been carefully designed to provide a kitchen and dining area directly open to a large great room and adjacent to either a courtyard or second story deck creating an amazing space for entertaining within a modest amount of square-footage.
• K. Hovanian Homes
• Starting in the $1,000,000s
• 50 single-family homes
• 2,796 sf – 4,000sf
• 4 – 5 beds & 4.5 – 5.5 baths with first floor master suites
• 1 single-story plan & 3 two-story plans
• 10 to 12-foot ceilings
• California rooms with double, open corner, bi-fold doors
• Bonus rooms, den – bedroom conversions, second floor decks
The richness and dedication of architectural styles taken from homes across the country is what sets Beacon Park aside from traditional Irvine Communities. Silvermist offers one of the most diverse street scenes showcasing a wide variety of styles. WHA takes great care in designing elevations to be true to their roots through both detailing as well as material and color selection. Along with diverse architecture, varied floor plan configurations are also evident throughout this collection, one of the most interesting being the dual master with a master suite on both the first and second floor. As American families continue to blur the lines of how they define their living environments the ability to customize is more important than ever and Silvermist provides just that.
Step out into the heat this summer and head out to Beacon Park. Tour the 47 open model homes and don’t forget to take a climb in the “Lookout!”
