WHA Participates in the 1st Annual BIASC Ice Hockey Game

WHA on the ice is proud of its star hockey players, Justin Mabe and Peter Gabrich who recently participated in the 1st annual Building Industry Association (BIA) – Southern California’s Hockey game at the Rinks in Anaheim! This event was well represented by many of Southern California’s top construction, development, and design firms. Participants included some of our current clients such as Ryland Homes, City Ventures, Meritage Homes, and Lennar. The event was a unique opportunity to mix the physical nature and camaraderie of ice hockey with client building opportunities at the pre-game mixer. The spectators were treated to a close, competitive, and entertaining game of hockey as evidenced by the crowd’s reactions during the game. Justin and Peter were both on the ice at the closing stages of the close 6 to 5 game, in which WHA’s players were part of the winning team. All of the players not only enjoyed the game, but also had the chance to develop relationships with current and perspective clients. This event was completely different than past BIA industry events and was a huge success thanks to the generous sponsors, players and attendees!!! What an exciting and fun way to mix and mingle with our awesome clients!
