The “Mirabella” Model Grand Opening on Saturday, August 20th
Located within the acclaimed “Villages of Columbus” masterplan in the City of Tustin, the William Lyon Homes’ two-story attached townhome project “Mirabella” welcomed over 400 groups as they passed through on the opening weekend. The community of three to four bedroom townhomes ranging from 1,700 to 2,200 square feet with open floor plans and two-car garages, offers residents an incredible palette of amenities including a Grand Clubhouse directly adjacent to the project, four neighborhood parks, plus walking trails. “The Tustin Market Place” and “The District” are located within two miles of “Mirabella” and offer entertainment, fine dining and shopping.
“Mirabella”, which translates from the French as “Of Incredible Beauty”, from Italian as “Beautiful Image”, and from Latin as “Wonderful”, was designed with the ‘Georgian’ style of architecture as a concept. ‘Georgian’ style architecture was prominent from 1720 to 1840 and derives its name from the four George’s, (King George I of Great Britain through King George the IV of the United Kingdom). In the first America colonies, this style of architecture became known as the ‘Federal’ style.
WHA’s integrated color studio worked closely with our architectural team to further define “Mirabella’s” ‘Georgian’ style with appropriate and strategically applied exterior materials and colors. Three different color schemes define the vertical lines of the architecture emphasizing individual townhomes. Crisp white trim, brick accents and high definition roofing shingles complete the historic classicism of this architecture.
Adjacent to the historic Marine Corps Air Station built in 1942 which is home to (2) all-wood and concrete blimp hangers, (one of which has been designated as a national historic landmark), “Mirabella” provides new-home living in central Orange County with direct access to freeways, services and is in close proximity to the John Wayne Airport.
