The Eco Resort: Latitude 10 Beach Resort

WHA is excited to announce that our multi-award winning project, Latitude 10, has become open to the public. Located near the bustling beach town of Santa Teresa on the Southern tip of the Nicoya Peninsula in Costa Rica, Latitude 10 was originally designed as a private beachfront resort for our longtime friends and clients, Bob Florsheim and Rick Hughes.

What started out as a small, beachfront hideaway quickly turned into a lavish, sustainable resort situated on over seven acres of private beachfront property. Using the natural settings and materials, 5 spacious casitas were designed, focusing on the interaction of the jungle and beachfront location. Winner of 2008 Gold Nugget and 2008 Builder Choice Award, Latitude 10 is the perfect gateway.

The resort clubhouse contains an open-bar; lounge and restaurant catered by a French chef exclusively for the resorts guest keeping the atmosphere private and tranquil. The clubhouse enjoys views of the oceanfront pool and 100 meters of private secluded white-sand beach.

Each bungalow is individually styled with unique decors such as Tropical, Moorish/Arabesque and Eclectic early 20th century. Interiors are enhanced by extensive wood detailing in harmonious palettes of warm hues, colored glass and decorative tile in lively colors and patterns throughout.

All bungalows have a spacious open-sky bathrooms and showers adjoining the bedroom. Two large master-suites are located beachfront w/lounge area, dining area and ocean-view veranda w/hammocks. Junior-suites are secluded deeper in the forest each w/a cozy porch. The Deluxe-Bedroom is attached to main building providing easy access to the clubhouse and beach.
